Boreanaz, who finished filming SEAL TeamHis swan song just weeks ago spilled at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival (via Variety ) that he is currently developing a series that he would write and produce as well as star in. Asked for some details on this prospect SEAL Team next, Boreanaz said, “I’m watching a lot The sopranos now.”
Boreanaz, however, said that the project he is developing is note about organized crime, adding: “You know what, I like suits, I like style, I like cars.”
Come back long SEAL Team’In the freshman run, TVLine asked Boreanaz about his “hot streak” and work ethic.
“To be honest with you, I like the job,” he explained. “I grew up in an Italian family and I have always worked. I started in sixth, seventh grade working at the farmer’s market or selling trees at Christmas, or being in construction in high school… My mentality goes to work; I don’t hang around very well. And when I think about taking some time off… I don’t know what it would be like. Maybe this is something I should ponder because I really enjoy working and I love the creative process.
“And I appreciate being an executive producer on the show and working as a director. It’s a triple threat for me,” he added. There’s a lot going on that people aren’t aware of, so for me there’s more to it than just ‘hitting the mark’ and I pride myself on that. Being able to deconstruct scripts, rewrite dialogue, bring ideas to the table that actually fit into the story line… what makes sense and what doesn’t… Whether it’s producing, acting or directing, I love to all.”
So if note a mob drama, what kind of show/role do you think Boreanaz is cooking up?
